The focuses of EBGI's activities are :-

• To encourage wide membership and active participation, meeting usually once a month.
• To update the database on European Union business activities in India.
• To establish a close working relationship with European Commission representation to India.
• To examine ways in India the EBGI can effectively pursue its prime objectives through:
  
  

  • developing a harmony of view within the membership on specific issues.
  • effective presentation of the position of European Union business interests to all appropriate bodies, including the European Commission.
  • encouraging good business practice, good citizenship, supportive philanthropic activities.
  • projecting an appropriate profile and image.
  • harmonious and mutually beneficial and complementary relationship with other national business groups.
